Jeremias Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Abel Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Daniel Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Otoniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Mino in the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, -El Bar del infierno-'s Geronimo Sengrat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aaron Otoniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Federico Mino fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 16th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jeremias Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Luken in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Gaitan saved -El Bar del infierno- from getting behind. Federico Mino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Jeremias Luken managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Luken was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Gaitan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Federico Mino fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 33rd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind -El Bar del infierno-'s goalkeeper Abel Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in -El Bar del infierno-'s zone, Jeremias Luken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Gaitan came out of the goal and Jeremias Luken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Geronimo Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, one of -El Bar del infierno-:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for -El Bar del infierno-. Lorenzo Quico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Abel Gaitan came out and tried to block the shot, but Lorenzo Quico slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. Abel Gaitan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Luken in the 56th minute of the match. Abel Gaitan came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Daniel Cesaro. But to his dismay, Daniel Cesaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A hard shot 62 in the game by Daniel Cesaro from a close distance when the talented Abel Gaitan managed to make a qualified save. -El Bar del infierno-'s players were relieved. Jeremias Luken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Abel Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Jeremias Luken got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Cesaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Abel Gaitan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Daniel Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Cesaro couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 76 played minutes -El Bar del infierno- got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Osoro. 76 minutes into the match, -El Bar del infierno-'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Quico came free, but Abel Gaitan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of River Plate booed when -El Bar del infierno- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Gaitan having to interfere. In the 86th minute Daniel Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, -El Bar del infierno-'s Geronimo Sengrat got a free kick in the 86th minute. Jeremias Luken received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Abel Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Daniel Cesaro notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of -El Bar del infierno-'s Abel Gaitan. Abel Gaitan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind -El Bar del infierno-'s goalkeeper Abel Gaitan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. River Plate had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
