Cromito Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgard Oriche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Madagascar's Cirilo Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Fagildo in the 36th minute of play. Cirilo Guillen didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 38th minute, which inside left pole to 4-2. In the 95th minute, Madagascar's Leonardo Pérez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 8-4. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cromito Futebol fully deserved thier win.
