Eduardo Raitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Gipson in the 13th minute of the match. Eduardo Raitin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eleuterio Serapio in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Jorgelín Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Basualdo came free, but Santo Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Raul Nel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eduardo Raitin, 1-0. Jorgelín Negro's Santo Gelmiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Bihar in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jeremias Bihar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmira AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeremias Bihar took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santo Gelmiro. Santo Gelmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Basualdo in the 27th minute of play forced Jorgelín Negro's goalkeeper Santo Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Berdoi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Eleuterio Serapio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Eduardo Raitin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jorgelín Negro. A hard shot 47 in the game by Raul Nel from a close distance when the talented Eduardo Raitin managed to make a qualified save. Palmira AFC's players were relieved. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Nel made a kick off. The tension between the Jorgelín Negro and the Palmira AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palmira AFC's Abel Silbestre got a free kick in the 59th minute. Eduardo Raitin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Nel went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Roman Berdoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Raitin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Raul Nel's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After some careless play in the Palmira AFC defense, Eleuterio Serapio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Raitin. The Palmira AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Raitin should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Sergio Gipson put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eduardo Raitin. Jeremias Bihar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Santo Gelmiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kent Håkansson's late challenge caught a Palmira AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Håkansson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th match minute, Jorgelín Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kent Håkansson to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Bihars short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Santo Gelmiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 82 minutes, Arnoldo Celipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmira AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Celipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Bihar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Gelmiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Sergio Gipson notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Palmira AFC's Eduardo Raitin. Eduardo Raitin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Jorgelín Negro booed when Palmira AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Bihar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Silbestre lost his temper 94 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Palmira AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Palmira AFC:s Eduardo Raitin showed great skill when he stopped Sergio Gipson:s penalty. There was no doubt that Jorgelín Negro were the better team. Jorgelín Negro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
