When Fausto Petrigai came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Felicia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Petrigai couldn't finish the play. Esteban Jaunti charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Jaunti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, one of Cóndores:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cóndores. Pascual Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Miguel Oxarra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute Esteban Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Mergildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Fausto Petrigai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Etxekopar in the 78th minute of play forced Felicia FC's goalkeeper Miguel Oxarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Oxarra was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Esteban Etxekopar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Teo Orlanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Mergildo having to interfere. The Cóndores supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cóndores would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
