In the 17th minute, Vicente Gonzo made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Lucado. Dufaur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 22ndth minute of the game Victor Caton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dufaur's Jacinto Lucado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Dufaur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Lucado should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Lucado made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Vicente Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abelardo Perrando during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Alumni Fc booed when Dufaur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abelardo Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes Dufaur got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Abel. Jacinto Lucado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Gonzo in the 41st minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, Vicente Gonzo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Jacinto Lucado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Catons short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Jacinto Lucado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Efrain Ranolfo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
