Fabian Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eguen in the 9th minute of play. Ruben Sotero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reynaldo Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Piratas CBA booed when PANOSITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Piratas CBA fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Piratas CBA's Matias Eguen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matias Eguen took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabian Maurino. Fabian Maurino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 28th minute, Celso Segio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Nicholas having to interfere. After 33 played minutes Piratas CBA got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Bertol. If Ubaldo Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Celso Segio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reynaldo Nicholas. Celso Segio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Piratas CBA's Matias Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Serafin Bertol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fabian Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Piratas CBA were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fabian Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eguen in the 51st minute of play. Celso Segio was shown his second yellow card after 52 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to PANOSITO getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Celso Segio hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Piratas CBA's Ubaldo Rodriguez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Matias Eguen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fabian Maurino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Guzman hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Fabian Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Eguen in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Nemesio Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piratas CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Eguen struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Fabian Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piratas CBA. If Nemesio Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Maurino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xaiver Vadillos in the 79th minute. After a rather tough play, PANOSITO's Justino Ferdinand got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind PANOSITO's goalkeeper Fabian Maurino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Jonathan Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PANOSITO's protests and gave Jonathan Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd minute, Jonathan Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Piratas CBA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PANOSITO.
