Isaias Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Selatse's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Montel having to interfere. Guido Montel came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by La Lepra Marplatense's Cristobal Hermon. But to his dismay, Cristobal Hermon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Patricio Refugio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Selatse in the 23rd minute of play forced La Lepra Marplatense's goalkeeper Isaias Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Negri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciro Selatse's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Francisco Negri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Isaias Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Urdin having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Selatse in the 52nd minute of play. Guido Montel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Hermon in the 56th minute of the match. After having played for 57 minutes, Francisco Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muñoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Negri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Lope charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Lope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Muñoz booed when La Lepra Marplatense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Montel having to interfere. Ciro Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Isaias Urdin made a huge save. In the 71st minute Francisco Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Muñoz booed when La Lepra Marplatense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Cordarrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Patricio Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Muñoz's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Refugio came free, but Guido Montel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Selatse scored 1-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in La Lepra Marplatense's zone, Francisco Negri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Urdin came out of the goal and Francisco Negri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciro Selatse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Urdin having to interfere. A hard shot by Francisco Negri from long distance, 89 minutes into the match, got Isaias Urdin's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Francisco Negri scored 1-2 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
