With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucio Txema prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, Piratas CBA's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Caton came free, but Reynaldo Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Piratas CBA's Matias Eguen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucio Txema made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute Victor Caton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Victor Caton rounded Piratas CBA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 28th minute, Matias Eguen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Alumni Fc's Reynaldo Nicholas threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Victor Caton, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Piratas CBA's Matias Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Gonzo got free with Reynaldo Nicholas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Vicente Gonzo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reynaldo Nicholas. Piratas CBA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Gonzo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Victor Caton made the kick off in the second half. Honorio Ado charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorio Ado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Alumni Fc booed when Piratas CBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alumni Fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Matias Eguen scored to the left of an out of position Lucio Txema, making the score, 3-4. Raimundo Chale made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gilberto Olando however managed to control. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemesio Franco got free with Lucio Txema in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vicente Gonzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Alumni Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. The Piratas CBA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alumni Fc from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
