Alberto Lope took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodosio Loco. Archigram FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save La Lepra Marplatense from getting a goal against them. If Patricio Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Romo lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 22 minutes into the game, one of La Lepra Marplatense:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cristobal Hermon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute of the match, Anselmo Ishmael got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isaias Urdin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Isaac Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Isaias Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Tome got free with Teodosio Loco in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, La Lepra Marplatense's Bernardino Maiorga got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes, Isaac Vito made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristobal Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Salvador Tome fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Lepra Marplatense's protests and gave Salvador Tome a yellow card for diving instead.
