Piratas CBA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Eguen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 7 minutes of play, Piratas CBA's Xaiver Vadillos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramon Derwin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramon Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Eguen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Caradaro in the 17th minute of play forced Piratas CBA's goalkeeper Reynaldo Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reynaldo Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Gorri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Txartiko in the 23rd minute of the match. Piratas CBA's Reynaldo Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Caradaro in the 25th minute of play. Ramon Derwin was a little too slow when Ubaldo Rodriguez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Txartiko in the 30th minute of play forced Piratas CBA's goalkeeper Reynaldo Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes Reincidentes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Jaume who took care of the corner kick. In the 46th minute, Xaiver Vadillos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piratas CBA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Eguen to make the kick off. Ramon Derwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Rodriguez in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Ubaldo Rodriguez made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Derwin. Reincidentes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Ubaldo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Reincidentes FC's Rolando Baumer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-3. In the 84th match minute, Reincidentes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zlatan Gøl to maneuver through the defense. If Matias Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Gorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Nicholas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Piratas CBA defense, Carlos Caradaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reynaldo Nicholas. The Piratas CBA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reynaldo Nicholas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Piratas CBA getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nemesio Franco hit a great ball. Serafin Bertol's late challenge caught a Reincidentes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serafin Bertol helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Piratas CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Bertol to maneuver through the defense.
