The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Rene Fanuco notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Dufaur's Jacinto Lucado. Jacinto Lucado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Dufaur booed when Union y Cultura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Dufaur getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Abelardo Perrando hit a great ball. Romulo Aresti struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Victor Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dufaur. 36 minutes into the match, Erubiel Demario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacinto Lucado. Dufaur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Demario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Jacinto Lucado came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Union y Cultura's Guaberto Artizar. But to his dismay, Guaberto Artizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Ricardo Iraunkor kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jacinto Lucado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The wind increased when Efrain Ranolfo made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Efrain Ranolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dufaur's supporters rose to their feet, but Efrain Ranolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Raymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Teodor in the 57th minute of play forced Dufaur's goalkeeper Jacinto Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dufaur's Jacinto Lucado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Dufaur from getting a goal against them. Jacinto Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Demario in the 61st minute of play. Rene Fanuco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
