Luciano Inguma took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaias Urdin. Isaias Urdin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. If Isidoro Savier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save La Lepra Marplatense from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Espadas De Luz FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Hermon came free, but Claudio Guzman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ivan Paz came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Espadas De Luz FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Paz couldn't finish the play. If Silvano Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Savier in the 24th minute of play forced La Lepra Marplatense's goalkeeper Isaias Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Luciano Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Urdin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Urdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Telesforo in the 33rd minute of play. La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Savier in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in La Lepra Marplatense's zone, Luciano Inguma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Urdin came out of the goal and Luciano Inguma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ivan Paz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Isaias Urdin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luciano Inguma who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Isaias Urdin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Refugio to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Paz in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaias Urdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the game, Bernardino Maiorga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Lepra Marplatense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espadas De Luz FC the free kick. 55 minutes into the match, Ivan Paz notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of La Lepra Marplatense's Isaias Urdin. Isaias Urdin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Espadas De Luz FC's Claudio Guzman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Espadas De Luz FC from getting a goal against them. Isaias Urdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Telesforo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Inguma in the 66th minute of play forced La Lepra Marplatense's goalkeeper Isaias Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to La Lepra Marplatense getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Clodoveo Sabino hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, La Lepra Marplatense's Alberto Lope shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claudio Guzman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Lepra Marplatense reached it. Teodosio Lander hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Claudio Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Refugio in the 79th minute of the match. Isaias Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Paz's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Luciano Inguma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Espadas De Luz FC's Luciano Inguma got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Isaias Urdin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Savier's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Espadas De Luz FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
