Xaiver Vadillos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Refugio in the 15th minute of play forced Piratas CBA's goalkeeper Reynaldo Nicholas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 16th minute of the game. One of Piratas CBA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Lepra Marplatense:s goal. The goalkeeper, Reynaldo Nicholas, was totally fooled by La Lepra Marplatense's Alberto Lope, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Cristobal Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xaiver Vadillos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Urdin having to interfere. A collision led to La Lepra Marplatense getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bernardino Maiorga hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Patricio Refugio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reynaldo Nicholas. The goal made the score 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Refugio made a kick off. In the 56th minute Patricio Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaiver Vadillos charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xaiver Vadillos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, Piratas CBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xaiver Vadillos to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Nicholas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Lepra Marplatense's Cristobal Hermon got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, La Lepra Marplatense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Cordarrell to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Piratas CBA booed when La Lepra Marplatense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Maiorga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. La Lepra Marplatense were victorious despite being under pressure from Piratas CBA for much of the match.
