Jacinto Lucado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Francisco Negri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Lucado having to make a save. In the 22nd minute, Ciro Selatse made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Lucado. Dufaur's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Robustiano Bonifaco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Martino in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Ciro Selatse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Ciro Selatse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Jacinto Lucado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Muñoz could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dufaur throughout the match.
