Paulino Fortun came out of the goal and Paolo Chuse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Markel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Abadie having to interfere. Fidel Markel hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Paolo Chuse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Fernando Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Maximo Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 29 minutes, Fernando Lohitzun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Lohitzun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Lohitzun in the 48th minute of play forced Cuervo 46's goalkeeper Jaime Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Chuse to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Cuervo 46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leandro Hartz to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's Christian Chumo tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Aquilino Chorche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Fortun having to interfere. The supporters of Cuervo 46 booed when APOCOLOCYNTOSIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Nicholas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Cuervo 46 defense, Fernando Lohitzun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Abadie. The Cuervo 46 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Abadie should have stopped the shot. If Aquilino Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fernando Lohitzun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rolando Tohias in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Abadie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rolando Tohias might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jaime Abadie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. Jaime Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Lohitzun, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Jaime Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Lohitzun in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Rolando Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. APOCOLOCYNTOSIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Tohias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaime Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Lohitzun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. APOCOLOCYNTOSIS had played much better football throughout.
