Honorato Laurgain was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honorato Laurgain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Vistruario went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Godfredo Charro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Katia's late challenge caught a Diosito de 9's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugenio Katia helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Eugenio Katia. Pastor Argina hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Godfredo Charro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Vasconcelos came out of the goal and Godfredo Charro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgardo Bryant's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Honorato Laurgain skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 30 minutes into the game, Edgardo Bryant lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Honorato Laurgain. Edgardo Bryant received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Honorato Laurgain came out and tried to block the shot, but Edgardo Bryant slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 35th minute. Honorato Laurgain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Bryant in the 38th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Club Atletico River Plate's Edgardo Bryant dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Edgardo Bryant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Lucian to make the kick off. A long shot from Pastor Argina in the 54th minute of play was well struck, but Júlio Vasconcelos made a really good save at the right post. Godfredo Charro might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Júlio Vasconcelos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Charro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Club Atletico River Plate's Júlio Vasconcelos got control of the ball when Horacio Lucian tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Horacio Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diosito de 9's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horacio Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dario Mendiko took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Júlio Vasconcelos. Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Diosito de 9's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Vistruario came free, but Honorato Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Frantzes's late challenge caught a Club Atletico River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes Diosito de 9 got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Frantzes. Edgardo Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Patricio Vistruario had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorato Laurgain. Diosito de 9's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Patricio Vistruario was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Edgardo Bryant blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Honorato Laurgain having to make a save. 83 minutes into the match, Diosito de 9's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Bryant came free, but Honorato Laurgain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
