Constantino Heuchel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Gaston Elizardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Belgrano's Marcelino Nel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelino Nel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaston Elizardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Tobias Ariando hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruben Toli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcelino Nel. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. Silvano Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Marcelino Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaston Elizardo got free with Marcelino Nel in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Laffitte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Flavio Laffitte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Marquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Petroquimica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Guido Erasto hit a great ball. Marcelino Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Bernebe in the 39th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Laffitte to make the kick off. Marcelino Nel came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Petroquimica's Silvano Phelipe. But to his dismay, Silvano Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gaston Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Marcelino Nel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcelino Nel came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Petroquimica's 吴强耀. But to his dismay, 吴强耀 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Defensores de Belgrano's Ida Bagus Adrianto got his second yellow card of the match in the 68th minute. The referee ordered Ida Bagus Adrianto off the ground. A collision led to Defensores de Belgrano getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ida Bagus Adrianto hit a great ball. After 70 played minutes, Petroquimica's Luo Rong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelino Nel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Petroquimica reached it. The audience was convinced that Gaston Elizardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Nel was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaston Elizardo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Nel saved Defensores de Belgrano from getting behind. Marcelino Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Elizardo in the 76th minute of play. Marcelino Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Bernebe in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Bernebe in the 79th minute of play forced Defensores de Belgrano's goalkeeper Marcelino Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
