The supporters of El Oso FC booed when Defensores de Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victoriano Weather came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the El Oso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Weather couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Belgrano's zone, Alfonso Sadurni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Nel came out of the goal and Alfonso Sadurni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the game, El Oso FC's Santo Licerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelino Nel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Marcelino Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Licerio in the 37th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, El Oso FC's Victoriano Weather made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Nel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Batıhan Baysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavio Laffitte might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Montrelle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flavio Laffitte ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Weather to strike the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Gonsalvo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Victoriano Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Oso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Defensores de Belgrano's Eulalio Gonsalvo suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Esteve Cordaryal charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
