Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aquilino Tauro started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Aquilino Tauro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Florencio Fidencio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Generoso Montay in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Mantero FC got a corner. Curramalán FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcelino Roderigo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mantero FC's Marcelino Roderigo to fire away a dangerous shot which Florencio Fidencio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Benito Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Curramalán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Edorta couldn't finish the play. If Sergio Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Gilesindo charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Gilesindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Curramalán FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Gilesindo to maneuver through the defense. After 30 minutes, Lisandro Iratxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curramalán FC and the Mantero FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, one of Curramalán FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curramalán FC. Florencio Fidencio had in the 32ndth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelino Roderigo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Curramalán FC's Benito Edorta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicasio Elivareo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Florencio Fidencio was a little too slow when Aquilino Tauro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Aquilino Tauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mantero FC's Cirilo Gagriel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sergio Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nicasio Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Curramalán FC's Florencio Fidencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Tauro in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Curramalán FC's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Montay came free, but Florencio Fidencio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curramalán FC's Benito Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Benito Edorta came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Curramalán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benito Edorta couldn't finish the play. Mantero FC's attack was well implemented in the 81st minute, but when Aquilino Tauro was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 87th minute Generoso Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Fidencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aquilino Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
