In the 7th minute Generoso Montay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Oidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Daniel Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Francho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicasio Elivareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Aquilino Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the game, Daniel Gutierrez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mantero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Claro the free kick. In the 15th match minute, Mantero FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Gutierrez to maneuver through the defense. If Aquilino Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Medardos short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Nicasio Elivareo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 26 minutes into the game, Baldomero Gitano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Claro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mantero FC the free kick. In the 27th minute, Baldomero Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Claro's zone, Generoso Montay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Oidor came out of the goal and Generoso Montay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicasio Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Francho, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Godofredo Nesto fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Claro's protests and gave Godofredo Nesto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Claro's Godofredo Nesto got a free kick in the 38th minute. The audience was convinced that Generoso Montay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Oidor was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonatan Francho in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicasio Elivareo saved Mantero FC from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mantero FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Omar Medardo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Nicasio Elivareo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 48th minute, Generoso Montay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Claro's zone, Generoso Montay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Oidor came out of the goal and Generoso Montay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luisito Oidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Mantero FC's Aquilino Tauro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luisito Oidor. Luisito Oidor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 69th minute, Jonatan Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Generoso Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Oidor having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Angel Procopio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mantero FC and the Deportivo Claro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angel Procopio kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Benjamin Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 77 played minutes, Deportivo Claro's Venancio Romildo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicasio Elivareo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Deportivo Claro reached it. If Generoso Montay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Claro's Venancio Romildo got a free kick in the 80th minute. Omar Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Elivareo having to interfere. Mantero FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
