Severo Enetz ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Enetz in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Oidor saved Deportivo Claro from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Omar Medardo got free with Aquilino Santos in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Omar Medardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Aquilino Santos made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Deportivo Claro's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Enetz came free, but Luisito Oidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herradura's Aquilino Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Herradura from getting a goal against them. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Enetz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luisito Oidor. That made the score 1-2 in the 52 minute of play. The Herradura supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Herradura would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
