The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Montay got free with Ricardo Fe in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angel Procopio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Jeronimo Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Chorache charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Chorache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mantero FC booed when Astrolabio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Jeronimo Olo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicasio Elivareo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jonathan Chorache struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Nicasio Elivareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Astrolabio. If Aquilino Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 played minutes Astrolabio got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Mirande. After a defensive mix-up in Astrolabio's zone, Aquilino Tauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Fe came out of the goal and Aquilino Tauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Montay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Astrolabio's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Aquilino Tauro scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Fe, making the score, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Tauro made a kick off. Ricardo Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Montay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Generoso Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Fe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Montay in the 60th minute of play forced Astrolabio's goalkeeper Ricardo Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Tauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Fe having to interfere. If Aquilino Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute of the match Cirilo Gagriel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardo Fe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Jeronimo Olo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ricardo Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Fe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Tauro in the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Montay in the 90th minute of play forced Astrolabio's goalkeeper Ricardo Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Aquilino Tauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricardo Fe was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
