The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquilino Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aquilino Santos was a little too slow when Baldomiro Caitano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. Enzo Atarrabi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Aquilino Santos made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Ichipuca AFC's Enzo Atarrabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Franciszek Wolniewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Baldomiro Caitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of Herradura booed when Ichipuca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franciszek Wolniewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Phelipe made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ichipuca AFC's Roman Nesor. In the 34th minute, Baldomiro Caitano made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Santos. Herradura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 37th minute Baldomiro Caitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severo Enetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agne Ivarsson having to interfere. Ichipuca AFC's Baldomiro Caitano was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomiro Caitano to make the kick off. Baldomiro Caitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomiro Caitano ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Baldomiro Caitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Santos was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Herradura's Aquilino Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Lorenz in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ichipuca AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
