Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celestino Hartz started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Domingos Hori cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Haroldo Goi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bonpland! When Roberto Gauargi came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mussi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Gauargi couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Celestino Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Bonpland getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Amador Toli hit a great ball. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Mussi's Celestino Hartz fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. When Amador Toli fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bonpland's protests and gave Amador Toli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Amador Toli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Haroldo Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bonpland's Vicente Cesario got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Remigio Artal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casimiro Tirso skillfully saved the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bonpland's goalkeeper Casimiro Tirso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Mussi's Roberto Gauargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Casimiro Tirso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Vicente Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Bernad struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Haroldo Goi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonpland. Casimiro Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Gauargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Bernad made a kick off. Paulo Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Haroldo Goi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casimiro Tirso made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Roberto Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. Celestino Hartz spun around in front of the goal 56 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Bonpland's goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celestino Hartz in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casimiro Tirso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bonpland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Celestino Hartz scored to the left of an out of position Casimiro Tirso, making the score, 1-3. Bonpland's Paulo Bernad got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Gaur hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Celestino Hartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Casimiro Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bonpland's zone, Roberto Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Tirso came out of the goal and Roberto Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Celestino Hartz struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Casimiro Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mussi. A collision led to Mussi getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Filiberto Transito hit a great ball. Bonpland's Casimiro Tirso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Bonpland from getting a goal against them. Casimiro Tirso was a little too slow when Celestino Hartz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Bonpland's zone, Roberto Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casimiro Tirso came out of the goal and Roberto Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Bonpland's goalkeeper Casimiro Tirso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roberto Gauargi. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mussi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
