The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blas Min during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Tocol got a freekick which was hit by Blas Min. Abel Giro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Nuxila in the 43rd minute. Erasmo Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Tiburcio Sanduru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedicto Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tocol's Tiburcio Sanduru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Ortzi in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tocol's Joaquin Colon got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute of the match, Filomeno Oalo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiburcio Sanduru was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Filomeno Oalo notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Tocol's Tiburcio Sanduru. Tiburcio Sanduru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
