Agustin Astigar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Jamaica F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pitin came free, but Virgilio Guib reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Pedro Stephen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Virgilio Guib was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 25 minutes, Arnulfo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Guib made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Pedro Stephen sent off a good shot on target. Pedro Stephen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Virgilio Guib tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 37th minute by Pedro Stephen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Virgilio Guib made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Pedro Stephen sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th match minute, Jamaica F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Urtungo to maneuver through the defense. If Cristian Pitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Benitez to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Arnaldo Aznaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Astigar having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Pedro Stephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Alumni F.C. Sebastian Elequemedo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Virgilio Guib. 2-1. Jamaica F.C's Virgilio Guib played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Stephen in the 71st minute of play. After 76 played minutes Alumni F.C got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Burni. Agustin Astigar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Tolino in the 80th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Angelo Benitez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Benitez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
