In the 20th match minute, El Carmencito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Iratze to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in El Carmencito's zone, Cristian Pitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Dolfo came out of the goal and Cristian Pitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, El Carmencito's David Maore got a free kick in the 41st minute. Cristian Pitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Tomás Dolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubaldo Iratze was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Ubaldo Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Cristian Pitin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of El Carmencito's Tomás Dolfo. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Alumni F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
