In the 3rd minute, one of Aguadita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aguadita. When the match had been going on for 5 minutes, Alumni F.C's Sebastian Elequemedo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Hugo Silvanito. Bruno Sanson's late challenge caught a Alumni F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Sanson helped the player get up and apologised. Bruno Sanson hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Arnaldo Cesaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguadita's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Cesaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Pitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, Aguadita's Arnaldo Cesaro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Agustin Astigar was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, one of Alumni F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alumni F.C. In the 33rd minute, Enzo Frantzes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Cesaro in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Enzo Frantzes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aguadita's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Frantzes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Astigar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd minute, Bruno Sanson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian Pitin made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Alumni F.C's Cristian Pitin made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Silvanito was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Bruno Sanson took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Agustin Astigar to make any attempt to save it. Arnaldo Cesaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Agustin Astigar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Arnaldo Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Silvanito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pitin in the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Aguadita getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fabian Quiroga hit a great ball. Cristian Pitin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Aguadita's Arnaldo Cesaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustin Astigar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. When Arnaldo Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Aguadita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnaldo Cesaro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Cesaro got free with Agustin Astigar in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Aguadita's Bruno Sanson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agustin Astigar. Agustin Astigar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-5. In the 96th minute, Cristian Pitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Silvanito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. The Alumni F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Aguadita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
