After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Leonides Ieltxu managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Carmencito's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonides Ieltxu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Guib breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimeno Colas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tomás Dolfo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tomás Dolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Benitez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Guillermo Frechoso lost his temper 15 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 15 minutes into the game, one of El Carmencito:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 17th minute, where Jamaica F.C:s Mateo Lleir tricked El Carmencito:s Tomás Dolfo with a difficult ball by the left post. After 19 minutes, David Maore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Carmencito and the Jamaica F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Jamaica F.C booed when El Carmencito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Benitez in the 26th minute of play forced El Carmencito's goalkeeper Tomás Dolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Eli hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 31st match minute, El Carmencito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Maore to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Saturnino Gabon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomás Dolfo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Colas in the 41st minute. When Efrain Rexino fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Carmencito's protests and gave Efrain Rexino a yellow card for diving instead. Mateo Lleir walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Ieltxu was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Alvaro Atauri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Carmencito the free kick. A collision led to Jamaica F.C getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Alvaro Atauri hit a great ball. Tomás Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Benitez in the 64th minute of the match. Tomás Dolfo came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Jamaica F.C's Albano Boniel. But to his dismay, Albano Boniel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 72 played minutes El Carmencito got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Iratze. After a defensive mix-up in Jamaica F.C's zone, Leonides Ieltxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgilio Guib came out of the goal and Leonides Ieltxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 83 minutes of play Jamaica F.C's Alvaro Atauri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Alvaro Atauri hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Arnulfo Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 91 minutes into the match, Jamaica F.C's Arnulfo Tolino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Dolfo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Arnulfo Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jamaica F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Tolino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
