The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Sesuldo got free with Cipriano Llorian in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Lértora AFC's Tomas Geleberto got a free kick in the 45th minute. Lértora AFC's Cipriano Llorian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Inge in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 51 minutes, Aureliano Evis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lértora AFC and the Oid Mortales players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oid Mortales's Amador Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Sesuldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cipriano Llorian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Amador Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Llorian having to interfere. Siro Sesuldo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cipriano Llorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oid Mortales.
