If Gaspar Matia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Brujas F.C got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Jerrold. 19 minutes into the match, Brujas F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Toro came free, but Marcial Inge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcial Inge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Brujas F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Rosa FC throughout the match.
