After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jorge Porfiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elordi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Porfiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelino Lluc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorge Porfiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jorge Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Oid Mortales got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Aurken. If Siro Sesuldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 37th minute, Claudio Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelino Lluc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Porfiro's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. A collision led to Oid Mortales getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Alberto Bixintxo hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Porfiro to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Siro Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The tension between the Oid Mortales and the Elordi AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Oid Mortales:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elordi AFC:s goal. After 58 played minutes Elordi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Mouricio. In the 59th minute Amador Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Berriotxoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Lluc having to interfere. After some careless play in the Elordi AFC defense, Siro Sesuldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Berriotxoa. The Elordi AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Berriotxoa should have stopped the shot. 70 minutes into the game, Leonardo Aurken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oid Mortales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elordi AFC the free kick.
