Gregorio Chorache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Amigos Unidos. With an all-out effort, Duré FC's Iyan Aquejano threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Guilherme Leme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Albino Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Amigos Unidos's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Oton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Chorache breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Amigos Unidos's goalkeeper Iyan Aquejano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Naike. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albino Oton in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gregorio Chorache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucjan Gorzkiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gregorio Chorache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregorio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Oton in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Amigos Unidos got a corner. Duré FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cornelio Salbatore ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cornelio Salbatore made a great header on Amigos Unidos's corner, it was just that Duré FC's Gregorio Chorache managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albino Oton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Epifanio Endura hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albino Oton got free with Gregorio Chorache in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amigos Unidos's Albino Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albino Oton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Chorache having to interfere. Albino Oton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Gregorio Chorache made a huge save. Baltasar Jaume charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baltasar Jaume the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Duré FC's Baltasar Jaume got a free kick in the 73rd minute. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Domingos Miliano with Anacleto Naike as target, who quickly passed the ball forward.
