Zafer Reis started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Zafer Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arman Wiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaudencio Rico hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Efrain Bernard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Abadie in the 15th minute of play. Arman Wiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zafer Reis in the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Nottingham Forres FC's Lucas Chorache ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arman Wiberg. Arman Wiberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 26th match minute, Espinillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacinto Abar to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Oihenarte in the 29th minute of play forced Nottingham Forres FC's goalkeeper Efrain Bernard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucas Chorache charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Chorache the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nottingham Forres FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Lucas Chorache hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Nottingham Forres FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Ixaka. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Efrain Bernard was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Tadeo Ikatz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tadeo Ikatz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. If Zafer Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Chorache in the 60th minute of play forced Espinillo's goalkeeper Arman Wiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arman Wiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Javier Pinola, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo's zone, Nicolas Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arman Wiberg came out of the goal and Nicolas Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nottingham Forres FC's Nicolas Cordeiro in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Espinillo's goalie prevented a goal. Arman Wiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Reis in the 74th minute of play. Javier Abreu's late challenge caught a Nottingham Forres FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Espinillo getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Javier Abreu hit a great ball. In the 80th minute, Zafer Reis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Efrain Bernard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Oskar Nordgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Zafer Reis made a precise shot to the right of Arman Wiberg. Espinillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 90th minute, Espinillo's Tadeo Ikatz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Efrain Bernard. Efrain Bernard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Nottingham Forres FC's Nicolas Cordeiro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nottingham Forres FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Espinillo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
