Albino Oton's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abelardo Peio firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 35 minutes Contra Viento y Marea's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Flavio Lobo who took care of the corner kick. In the 36th minute, Albino Oton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Albino Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute Edelmiro Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iyan Aquejano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Kinsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Peio having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Albino Oton made the kick off in the second half. Abelardo Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albino Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 67th match minute, Amigos Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Oton to maneuver through the defense. Amigos Unidos had played much better football throughout.
