With a little luck, Eternal Losers's Eduardo Leguizamón got control of the ball when Edelmiro Obeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geronimo Ereinotz in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Peio saved Contra Viento y Marea from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Quintyn in the 30th minute of play forced Contra Viento y Marea's goalkeeper Abelardo Peio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Godfredo Iratxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Geronimo Ereinotz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Peio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Ismael Rios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Contra Viento y Marea's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Ereinotz came free, but Abelardo Peio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Peio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Quintyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Geronimo Ereinotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abelardo Peio. Contra Viento y Marea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geronimo Ereinotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The tension between the Contra Viento y Marea and the Eternal Losers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Contra Viento y Marea getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Abelardo Peio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Ereinotz scored 1-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Peio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geronimo Ereinotz got free with Abelardo Peio in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edelmiro Obeko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Edelmiro Obeko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lisandro Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
