The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pascual Salvatore showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The San Lorenzo fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Pecta Gama getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Elias Salvino hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, Pecta Gama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Garin to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute of the match Marciano Tono shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Boniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pascual Salvatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Tancredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Mruk struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Mario Boniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pecta Gama. Gogo Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Boniel having to interfere. San Lorenzo fc's Mario Boniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Roldan in the 32nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Edgard Sindo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Lorenzo fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pecta Gama the free kick. Pascual Salvatore came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by San Lorenzo fc's Fabio Tancredo. But to his dismay, Fabio Tancredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

Edgard Sindo got his second yellow card in the match during the 52nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 53 played minutes San Lorenzo fc got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Sindo. Gogo Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mario Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Gogo Roldan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstanty Mruk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo fc's Mauricio Naldo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mario Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Roldan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Although Pecta Gama had been in control for most of the match, San Lorenzo fc still came away with the win.
