The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice moves Esteve Gutxi could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Luis Eliazar however easily saved by the left post. After 6 played minutes TachuRc got a freekick which was hit by Blas Havier. TachuRc's Lázaro Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Blanco in the 7th minute of play. Ceferino Mannie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denis Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Lázaro Reyes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelio Senio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the TachuRc defense, Denis Blanco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lázaro Reyes. The TachuRc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lázaro Reyes should have stopped the shot. The supporters of TachuRc booed when Gaiman Futbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Luken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaiman Futbol Club's Luis Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Mannie in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Denis Blanco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Mannie, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes Gaiman Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Luken. TachuRc's Ermegildo Constancio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gaiman Futbol Club. Gaiman Futbol Club's Luis Eliazar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Mannie in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Gaiman Futbol Club getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Denis Blanco hit a great ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Esteve Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TachuRc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ceferino Mannie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Eliazar having to interfere. Gaiman Futbol Club's Denis Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Senio hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Esteve Gutxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Luis Eliazar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Gaiman Futbol Club's zone, Ceferino Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Eliazar came out of the goal and Ceferino Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Mannie made a kick off. Denis Blanco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Lázaro Reyes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 57 minutes, Ermegildo Constancio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TachuRc and the Gaiman Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, TachuRc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Havier to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Blanco in the 65th minute of play forced TachuRc's goalkeeper Lázaro Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ermegildo Constancio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the TachuRc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Constancio couldn't finish the play. TachuRc's Lázaro Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Blanco in the 72nd minute of play. Luis Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Mannie in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute Ceferino Mannie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Eliazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Mannie in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute of the match TachuRc got a corner. Gaiman Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermegildo Constancio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gaiman Futbol Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
