After 11 played minutes Chamaicó got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Azibar. Danilo Iraunkor charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danilo Iraunkor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danilo Iraunkor hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Anastasio Abechuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24thth minute of the game Leandro Artizar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espartanos's Ezequiel Paez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After taking down the ball on Chamaicó's corner Vinicio Thomas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ezequiel Paez quite easily take care of the ball. Ezequiel Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Artizar's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ezequiel Paez came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Chamaicó's Leandro Artizar. But to his dismay, Leandro Artizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ezequiel Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Carmelo Foro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 35 minutes, Herminio Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chamaicó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Thomas in the 38th minute of play forced Espartanos's goalkeeper Ezequiel Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chamaicó's Vinicio Thomas got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Chamaicó were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Artizar was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Chamaicó got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Azibar. In the 53rd minute, Leandro Artizar fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Faustino Reno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonatan Esdras in the 59th minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Gilberto Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espartanos and the Chamaicó players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chamaicó booed when Espartanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ezequiel Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximo Azibar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anastasio Abechuco's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Ezequiel Paez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anastasio Abechuco in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Vinicio Thomas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ezequiel Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ezequiel Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Artizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chamaicó played a much better game than Espartanos and deserved their victory. The Espartanos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
