In the 6th minute, Chivilcoy's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nestor Reynardo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 9 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tolino came free, but Ciriaco Isidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teobaldo Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Arias in the 10th minute of play. Melquiades Telesforo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobaldo Aguirre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Sixto Bautista hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Teobaldo Aguirre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Tolino in the 30th minute of play forced Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Ciriaco Isidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chivilcoy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Teobaldo Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Cordearo in the 37th minute of the match. Ciriaco Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Tolino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. If Pedro Tolino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chivilcoy's Ciriaco Isidor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Chivilcoy from getting a goal against them. Ciriaco Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tolino in the 43rd minute of play. Pedro Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Isidor made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Nestor Reynardo sent off a good shot on target.

In the 53rd minute, Nestor Reynardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Isidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 60 minutes into the match, Guañizul's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Brais came free, but Teobaldo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nestor Reynardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Guañizul booed when Chivilcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Chivilcoy getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Amado Bernard hit a great ball. When Nestor Reynardo came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Guañizul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Reynardo couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute of the match Jaime Checa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ciriaco Isidor skillfully saved the ball. Guañizul's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
