Paulino Amor made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Placido Arias sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of EmiFC booed when Chivilcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciriaco Isidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Baracaldo in the 21st minute of play. Paulino Amor was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Placido Arias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Arias really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. EmiFC were furious when Derwin Correa was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 26 minutes into the game, one of EmiFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Paulino Amor, was totally fooled by Chivilcoy's Victorio Rioja, who 29 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Placido Arias's late challenge caught a EmiFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Arias helped the player get up and apologised. Placido Arias hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute Jimeno Donostia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Melquiades Telesforo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chivilcoy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EmiFC the free kick. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Paulino Amor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Cordearo, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in EmiFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Chivilcoy a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Victorio Rioja, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of EmiFC's Paulino Amor. 5-0. EmiFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clemente Cordearo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chivilcoy had played much better football throughout.
