Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Espartanos's Jonatan Esdras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Esdras in the 4th minute of play forced Deportivo Hormiga Armada's goalkeeper Erasmo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Espartanos's Jonatan Esdras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Arotza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Erasmo Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonatan Esdras in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Jonatan Esdras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Erasmo Arotza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonatan Esdras's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Gilberto Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Arotza having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Gilberto Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Arotza having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Gilberto Mino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erasmo Arotza. Deportivo Hormiga Armada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Mino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gilberto Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Erasmo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Gilberto Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Arotza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erasmo Arotza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Lixandro in the 37th minute of play. Gilberto Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Arotza having to interfere. Erasmo Arotza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilberto Mino went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jonatan Esdras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Erasmo Arotza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Hormiga Armada's zone, Jonatan Esdras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Arotza came out of the goal and Jonatan Esdras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Everardo Sayveon made the kick off in the second half. Jonatan Esdras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Erasmo Arotza came out and tried to block the shot, but Jonatan Esdras slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonatan Esdras in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erasmo Arotza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Hormiga Armada's Erasmo Arotza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Hormiga Armada from getting a goal against them. Espartanos's Gilberto Mino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Esdras in the 66th minute of play forced Deportivo Hormiga Armada's goalkeeper Erasmo Arotza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Espartanos's Gilberto Mino got a free kick in the 76th minute. Erasmo Arotza came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Espartanos's Gilberto Mino. But to his dismay, Gilberto Mino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. 84 minutes into the match, Deportivo Hormiga Armada's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Ugutz came free, but Erasmo Arotza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasmo Arotza was a little too slow when Elpidio Ugutz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-7. Jonatan Esdras might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erasmo Arotza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonatan Esdras ran back to his position shaking his head. Erasmo Arotza came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Espartanos's Elpidio Ugutz. But to his dismay, Elpidio Ugutz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. When the match was over Espartanos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo Hormiga Armada throughout the match.
