Lázaro Reyes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Guañizul's Albano Gaitano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lázaro Reyes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, TachuRc's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Tolino came free, but Lázaro Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guañizul's Teobaldo Aguirre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Mannie in the 30th minute of play. Pedro Tolino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the game, Guañizul's Nestor Reynardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Reyes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Nestor Reynardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Reynardo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Lázaro Reyes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guañizul. Lázaro Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Tolino in the 41st minute of play. Ermegildo Constancio's late challenge caught a Guañizul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermegildo Constancio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, TachuRc's Ermegildo Constancio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nestor Reynardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Reynardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The TachuRc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guañizul were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Ceferino Mannie made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ceferino Mannie made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Aguirre. Guañizul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Albano Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Reyes having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Guañizul's Pedro Tolino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lázaro Reyes. Lázaro Reyes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Severino Christobal made in the 65th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Nestor Reynardo. Albano Gaitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lázaro Reyes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albano Gaitano ran back to his position shaking his head. If Albano Gaitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Reyes was a little too slow when Nestor Reynardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-5. After a rather tough play, Guañizul's Ciriaco Navarro got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of TachuRc booed when Guañizul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Gaitano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The TachuRc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guañizul's performance. The match ended with a win for Guañizul.
