Leonel Loco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Jacinto Lizardi made a huge save. A collision led to Shankar FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Albino Fonso hit a great ball. Cristian Byrrisen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 39th minute, Shankar FC's Leonel Loco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jacinto Lizardi. Jacinto Lizardi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mancardos FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Lizardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bone Less took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Lizardi. Jacinto Lizardi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roque Bermudo made a kick off.
