The Mancardos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jacinto Lizardi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Glenn Hughes's Mauro Luzea. But to his dismay, Mauro Luzea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Anastasio Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Jacinto Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Glenn Hughes booed when Mancardos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Millano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauro Luzea, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Narciso Millano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Conrado Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jacinto Lizardi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Cerilo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Jacinto Lizardi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Poncio in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute Mauro Luzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Mancardos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Abalos to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bartolo Cerilo during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Conrado Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Bermudo in the 45th minute of play.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mancardos FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Lizardi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Luzea in the 85th minute of play forced Mancardos FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Deportivo Glenn Hughes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mancardos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
