With an all-out effort, Hiram Walker's Jacobus Stolte threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nemesio Oxel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Bertol got free with Jacobus Stolte in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th of the match, Nemesio Oxel tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Jacobus Stolte got in the way and made a wonderful save. Saldungaray FC's Jacobus Stolte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Oxel in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Aquilino Bras made a precise shot to the right of Dionisio Millrick. Hiram Walker's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, Saldungaray FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Frederik came free, but Jacobus Stolte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Saldungaray FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Americo Martxel hit a great ball. Lucas Vazquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacobus Stolte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amancio Berasko in the 40th minute. The supporters of Saldungaray FC booed when Hiram Walker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aquilino Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Saldungaray FC's goalkeeper Jacobus Stolte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Berasko. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nemesio Oxel to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Amancio Berasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hiram Walker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amancio Berasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobus Stolte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Berasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeremias Frederik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Saldungaray FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Cristian Joey hit a great ball. When Amancio Berasko came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Hiram Walker fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Berasko couldn't finish the play. Albino Polentzi's late challenge caught a Hiram Walker's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albino Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes Saldungaray FC got a freekick which was hit by Albino Polentzi. Jacobus Stolte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nemesio Oxel in the 92nd minute of play. The Hiram Walker supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Saldungaray FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Saldungaray FC.
