Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Berasko in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Naike prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 4 minutes on the clock, Teofilo Ursino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Atletico San Vicente's Teofilo Ursino got a free kick in the 5th minute. Leopoldo Colon struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Leonardo Naike didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hiram Walker. Leonardo Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Frederik, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 8 minutes, Samuel Diaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletico San Vicente and the Hiram Walker players grew even worse after the yellow card. Samuel Diaz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Amancio Berasko made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Naike. Atletico San Vicente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Dionisio Millrick made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gonzalo Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. Leonardo Naike showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amancio Berasko in the 14th minute of the match. If Fausto Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severo Oriol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dionisio Millrick made a huge save. After having played for 21 minutes, Fausto Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico San Vicente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Guillelmus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hiram Walker's Nemesio Oxel in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletico San Vicente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 28th minute, Atletico San Vicente's Celestino Loren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dionisio Millrick. Dionisio Millrick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, Amancio Berasko notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atletico San Vicente's Leonardo Naike. Leonardo Naike was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Oxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Naike was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th minute, Donato Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopoldo Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel Diaz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Leonardo Naike showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Oxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Jeremias Frederik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Naike having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Hiram Walker's Nemesio Oxel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Naike narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico San Vicente's goalkeeper Leonardo Naike, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Hiram Walker booed when Atletico San Vicente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Hiram Walker were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Amancio Berasko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Leonardo Naike made a huge save. Atletico San Vicente's Leonardo Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Oxel in the 65th minute of play. After 67th play minutes Nemesio Oxel shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Leonardo Naike and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 73rd minute, Nemesio Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Oxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Naike was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Dionisio Millrick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Guillelmus in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Atletico San Vicente's goal looked a bit too open when Nemesio Oxel came free, but Leonardo Naike reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico San Vicente's Leonardo Naike played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Oxel in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Oxel in the 94th minute of play forced Atletico San Vicente's goalkeeper Leonardo Naike to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hiram Walker supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hiram Walker would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
