The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match, Lucas Vazquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aldo Cerilo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lucas Vazquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Aldo Cerilo made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Aldo Cerilo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Lucas Vazquez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aldo Cerilo to make any attempt to save it. 18 minutes into the match, C.A Huracan's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Bras came free, but Aldo Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Vazquez got free with Aldo Cerilo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Baltasar Fero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aldo Cerilo. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Saldungaray FC's Conrado Belo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aldo Cerilo. That made the score 4-0 after 25 minutes of play. Mauricio Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes in the game, Lucas Vazquez dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After 35 played minutes C.A Huracan got a freekick which was hit by Mauricio Hustaz. Aldo Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Israel Gines took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aldo Cerilo. Aldo Cerilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas Vazquez was the one to do the kick off. Laureano Telmo's late challenge caught a C.A Huracan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Telmo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A Huracan booed when Saldungaray FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, C.A Huracan's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Belo came free, but Aldo Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Cerilo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Bras, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Aldo Cerilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Belo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Cerilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Conrado Belo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. 67 minutes into the game, Conrado Belo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Aldo Cerilo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauricio Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jacobus Stolte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Cerilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Bras went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 78th minute, Paulo Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Aquilino Bras shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aldo Cerilo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aldo Cerilo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Bras in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, C.A Huracan's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Bras came free, but Aldo Cerilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Hustaz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Saldungaray FC's Lucas Vazquez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aldo Cerilo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 89th minute Lucas Vazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Cerilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Saldungaray FC were the better team. Saldungaray FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
