The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paolo Guipuzkoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Celestino Gomesano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hiram Walker's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Real San Francis FC the free kick. 12 minutes into the match, Odín Maralla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pastor Eladio, 1-0. Tiburcio Mantzio kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in El Real San Francis FC's zone, Ulises Lizardi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wojciech Janiczek came out of the goal and Ulises Lizardi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Eladio made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Odín Maralla sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Hiram Walker's goalkeeper Pastor Eladio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Odín Maralla. In the 25th minute, Odín Maralla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pastor Eladio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Wojciech Janiczek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Lizardi in the 32nd minute of play. After some careless play in the El Real San Francis FC defense, Ulises Lizardi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojciech Janiczek. The El Real San Francis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojciech Janiczek should have stopped the shot. After having played for 41 minutes, Sebastian Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Real San Francis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of El Real San Francis FC booed when Hiram Walker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paolo Guipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Lech Dabrowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ulises Lizardi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wojciech Janiczek having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulino Txaran was the one to do the kick off. Pastor Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Odín Maralla in the 52nd minute of the match. Paulino Txaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pastor Eladio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Pastor Eladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Odín Maralla went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Hiram Walker's Celestino Gomesano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wojciech Janiczek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastian Domiku during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to El Real San Francis FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sebastian Domiku hit a great ball. Hiram Walker's Ulises Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 68 minutes into the match, El Real San Francis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Raymon came free, but Wojciech Janiczek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lech Dabrowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hiram Walker's Maximino Gonchan was substituted for Ulises Lizardi. 72 minutes into the match, Hiram Walker's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Txaran came free, but Pastor Eladio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Osmundo's late challenge caught a El Real San Francis FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Osmundo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hiram Walker's Hector Osmundo got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, Tiburcio Mantzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Txaran in the 80th minute of the match. Sebastian Domiku fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Eladio having to interfere. Hiram Walker's Maximino Gonchan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Maximino Gonchan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pastor Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the El Real San Francis FC defense, Maximino Gonchan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wojciech Janiczek. The El Real San Francis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojciech Janiczek should have stopped the shot. Hiram Walker's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
