Ceferino Lico was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victorino Regis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Santiago Ixaka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ceferino Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Bedshaped got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Tercero. After a defensive mix-up in Bedshaped's zone, Victorino Regis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Lico came out of the goal and Victorino Regis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd match minute, Bedshaped was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Ixaka might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Lico. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Ixaka ran back to his position shaking his head. Santiago Ixaka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Ceferino Lico made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Gaudencio Tuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorino Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lico having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Santiago Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Ixaka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Lico breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the game, Victorino Regis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ceferino Lico. Victorino Regis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Victorino Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ceferino Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pilar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Regis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Santiago Ixaka came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Pilar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santiago Ixaka couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Bedshaped's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Martxel came free, but Ceferino Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 51 minutes, Cesar Martxel made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bedshaped's Ceferino Lico tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Victorino Regis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ceferino Lico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Regis in the 62nd minute of play forced Bedshaped's goalkeeper Ceferino Lico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Lico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Bedshaped's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Regis came free, but Ceferino Lico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Magnus Pauk managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Bedshaped's Eugenio Llanos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victorino Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Lico having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Santiago Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot. With a left leg Ceferino Lico saved Bedshaped from getting behind. In the 85th minute of the game, Valentin Mirande landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. When Adolfo Gonchan fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bedshaped's protests and gave Adolfo Gonchan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Adolfo Gonchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ceferino Lico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Ixaka in the 93rd minute of play.
